Second Chances: Rescued and Rehomed Wildlife
Many of the animals you meet at Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter have an incredible story. Believe it or not, much of our wildlife has been rescued from unfortunate situations or rehomed. From sharks and tropical fish to our cockatoos and colorful macaws, each animal has found a safe home here after facing challenges in the wild or in captivity.
Some cannot return to the wild, while others came to us from situations where they could no longer be properly cared for. At our aquarium, they are given a second chance to live out their lives with love and care—while also inspiring and educating every guest who meets them.
