For 90 Minutes, the Aquarium Is Yours
Your birthday party is not tucked into a corner of the aquarium while normal operations continue around you. Your group receives exclusive use of Mertailor's Mermaid Aquarium Encounter for a 90-minute private celebration.
Up to 50 guests can explore the exhibits and touch tanks while your party enjoys a schedule of included birthday experiences created around the aquarium.
Private means private. Your reserved birthday period is designed as an exclusive aquarium experience for your invited guests, subject to the terms of your reservation.

Private Aquarium Access
Exclusive use of the Aquarium for 90 minutes for up to 50 guests, including access to the exhibits and touch tanks.

We set up tables with plain table coverings in our theater area for the cake, cupcakes, and drinks you bring for your guests.

Meet a Mermaid on Your Birthday
After the underwater performance, the birthday guest has an opportunity to meet and pose for photographs with a dry posing Mertailor mermaid.
Whether the guest of honor is a child who dreams about mermaids or an adult who never stopped loving them, the meet-and-greet gives the celebration a personal moment that belongs to the birthday guest.

Food & Party Setup
We'll set up tables with plain table coverings in our theater area. You are welcome to bring cake or cupcakes and drinks for your guests.
Cupcakes may be especially convenient in the aquarium environment, but a traditional birthday cake is welcome too.

Plates, silverware, cups, napkins, serving utensils, and anything else you will need for serving your food and drinks. These items are not provided and are not available for purchase at the Aquarium.

A Guppy Mermaid Tail Is Included
The birthday child or adult receives one Guppy mermaid tail as the premium birthday gift included with the private party package.
It gives the guest of honor something from Mertailor to take home after the mermaid show, animal encounters, photographs, and birthday celebration are over.

Planning a milestone birthday, celebrating a lifelong mermaid fan, or looking for something completely different for an adult birthday?
Our private birthday package can be used for child or adult celebrations, and the birthday guest can still enjoy the mermaid meet-and-greet and included Guppy mermaid tail.
Payment & Reservation
Reserve Your Birthday Date
Payment Options
You may pay the birthday party balance in full at commitment or pay a 50% deposit to reserve your date.
Remaining Balance
If you choose the 50% deposit option, the remaining balance is due no less than two weeks before the scheduled reservation date.
Cancellation More Than Two Weeks Before
Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email. Requests received more than two weeks before the reservation are partially refundable, less the $150 non-refundable amount.
Cancellation Less Than Two Weeks Before
Cancellation requests received in writing less than two weeks before the reservation are 100% non-refundable.
Non-refundable amount: In all cases, $150 of monies paid will be retained as a non-refundable deposit.

Is the aquarium private during the party?
Yes. The package includes exclusive use of the Aquarium during the 90-minute private birthday reservation.
Can we bring cake?
Yes. You may bring cake or cupcakes and drinks. You will need to bring your own plates, utensils, cups, napkins, and serving supplies.
Can adults have a birthday party at the aquarium?
Yes. The private birthday package may be used for a child or adult birthday celebration.
Is a mermaid tail included?
Yes. One Guppy mermaid tail is included as a premium birthday gift for the birthday child or adult.
