General Admission: Adult and child (4-12) ticket prices vary. We do offer special pricing for seniors and veterans. Learn more.

- Reserve Early: We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee your spot. Easily find the dates you want and see right away if a date is sold out.
- Wheelchair Accessibility: Mertailor is wheelchair friendly.
- Dining: While we don’t serve food on-site, we’re just minutes away from downtown Crystal River and downtown Inverness, where you’ll find a wide variety of locally owned and family-operated restaurants to enjoy.
- Directions & Parking: Convenient onsite parking is available for all guests, making your visit to Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter easy and stress-free.
- Guest Code of Conduct: To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please review our Guest Code of Conduct before your visit. It explains what’s expected of everyone and what behaviors are not permitted inside the aquarium.
Helpful Hints for Your Visit
- Touch Experiences: Our Sea Star Touch and Stingray Touch exhibits are open daily but do close down 10 minutes prior to and during each mermaid show to give our animals a rest. Stingray Touch and Stingray Feeding are available year round.
- Shark Feeding: Shark feedings are available year-round. We recommend reserving your Shark Feeding Encounters as soon as you arrive. This reservation also includes access to other feeding opportunities.
- Creature Features: Don’t miss our daily Creature Features, happening just before each mermaid show! Check in at arrival to see the schedule and learn fascinating facts about our birds, mammals, fish, and more.
- Animal Spotlights: Throughout the day, our animal care experts share fascinating information, showcasing amazing animal adaptations. Feel free to ask questions and chat with our staff to learn even more about the animals!
Gift Shop & Dining Options
Don’t forget to stop by our gift shop for the perfect souvenir! You don’t need to be visiting the aquarium to enjoy our shop. While we currently do not offer on-site food, just a short drive will take you to historic downtown Crystal River or Inverness, where you’ll find a variety of local restaurants and additional shopping options for the whole family.
