PADI Mermaid™ Certification at Mertailor's Mermaid Aquarium Encounter
The PADI Mermaid™ Certification is designed for confident swimmers seeking a deeper, more expressive mermaiding experience. This course includes all Basic Mermaid™ skills, meaning there is no need to take Basic Mermaid separately.
This certification expands on foundational concepts and introduces mermaiding as a form of underwater self-expression, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and proper technique—all within Mertailor’s professional performance environment.
Course Structure

Knowledge development through PADI Basic Mermaid™ eLearning

Two confined water sessions conducted in Mertailor’s aquarium habitat

All required googles, snorkels, weightbelts, and mermaid gear provided

Introduction to Mertailor mermaid choreography and performance style

Requirements & Important Information

Minimum age: 10 years old

Participants under 18 must have a paid observer present at all times

All online coursework must be completed prior to arrival

Minimum 4 hours on-site required to complete certification

Outside mermaid tails are not permitted
-
Showering is required before and after in-water activities (Facilities provided)
Cost: $550 per participant 10+ years old
Prices Include Participant's Aquarium Admission.
A Paid Adult Observer is Required for All Participants Under 18 Years Old.
