PADI Basic Mermaid™ Certification at Mertailor's Mermaid Aquarium Encounter
The PADI Basic Mermaid™ Certification is an introductory course designed for beginners who want to experience the fundamentals of mermaiding in a safe, supportive, and immersive environment. This course focuses on essential mermaid principles while giving participants a unique opportunity to train in Mertailor’s saltwater aquarium performance tank.
At Mertailor, you won’t just learn mermaid basics—you’ll be guided by professional Mertailor mermaids and introduced to the world of underwater performance in a one-of-a-kind setting.
Course Structure

One confined water session conducted in Mertailor’s aquarium habitat

Requirements & Important Information

Minimum age: 10 years old

Participants under 18 must have a paid observer present at all times

All online coursework must be completed prior to arrival

Minimum 2-3 hours on-site required to complete certification

Outside mermaid tails are not permitted
-
Showering is required before and after in-water activities (Facilities provided)
Cost: $350 per participant 10+ years old
Prices Include Participant's Aquarium Admission.
A Paid Adult Observer is Required for All Participants Under 18 Years Old.
