Experience the thrill of performing in our Mermaid Aquarium! This program is designed for certified mermaids, mermen, or free dive certified participants who want to explore the aquarium environment and showcase their skills. Enjoy up to 30 minutes of in-water time, guided by one of our expert mermaid instructors, with access to tropical marine life and our beautifully curated exhibit.

Pre-Swim Mermaid Photo Moment
Strike a pose before you dive in! Capture your transformation with a quick pre-dry photo session—perfect for content, memories, or social media. Don’t forget your camera or phone!
Mermaid Tail & Fantasea Fin
Slip into a Fantasea Fin and mermaid tail provided for your session. All equipment is included during your dive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swim.
Guided Expert Assistance
Swim with confidence! An expert mermaid instructor will guide you through your aquarium dive, ensuring safety and helping you perform your best moves.
Breath-Hold Only Experience: This program is conducted using breath-hold swimming only.
Compressed air, regulators, air hoses, or other breathing apparatus are not used by participants.
These devices are reserved exclusively for trained professional performers and safety staff who
complete extensive certification and specialized training.
Mermaid Aquarium Moments
Participant Requirements
- Certification Requirements: Participants must have a mermaid certification or a free dive certification through PADI, SSI, or NAUI. Certification card(s) required for proof prior to starting.
- Age & Supervision: Participants must be 13+ years and comfortable in and around water. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present as the paid adult observer.
- Health & Safety: Participants must be in good physical health and able to swim unassisted. Must be capable of swimming with legs bound in a mermaid tail and Fantasea Fin. Assistance with dressing must be arranged individually.
- What to Bring: All necessary equipment is provided. Participants should bring a swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes. Shower before and after your session. Outside mermaid tails are prohibited; accessories or tops must be staff-approved.
- Arrival: Check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled dive. Waivers must be completed before entering the aquarium habitat. Late arrivals cannot participate.
- Cancellation & Changes: Program fees are non-refundable. Changes ≥14 days in advance are free; changes <14 days incur a $50 fee. Contact (352) 513-3278. No-shows or cancellations cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

Change into your swimsuit and slip into your Fantasea Fin and mermaid tail. All equipment is provided for your session.
