Immerse yourself in Mertailor’s Mermaid Exhibit, a vibrant ecosystem mimicking a coral reef. Enjoy a 30-minute guided snorkeling session with tropical fish, stingrays, and sharks. Our expert aquarists provide instruction and safety guidance to ensure an unforgettable and educational encounter.
Your Snorkel Encounter Includes
Guided Experience
30 minutes of in-water time with professional aquarists guiding you safely through the exhibit.
Snorkeling Equipment
All necessary equipment, including snorkel, mask, and flotation devices, is provided for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Marine Life Interaction
Swim alongside a variety of tropical fish, stingrays, and sharks for a truly immersive encounter.
Facilities
Showering facilities available before and after your snorkeling encounter for comfort and hygiene.
Participant Requirements
- Minimum age: 8 years old
- Ages 8–12 must have a parent/legal guardian on the dry deck; participants under 18 require a paid adult observer
- Comfortable and in good physical health in and around water
- Must be able to swim unassisted and navigate exhibit entry/exit points
- Swim vests provided (waist ≤60in, weight ≤400lbs); personal gear exceeding limits not permitted
- Bring swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes; shower before and after the encounter
- Wet suits and jewelry not allowed; electronics not allowed in the exhibit
- Prompt arrival required (15 min prior); waivers must be completed

Swim with the Fish FAQs
Bring your swimsuit, towel, and dry clothes. All equipment (snorkel, mask, flotation devices) is provided. Jewelry and wet suits are not allowed.

Yes! All animals are supervised by professional aquarists to ensure safety during your snorkeling experience.
Electronics are not allowed in the exhibit. Cameras and devices may only be used in the gallery viewing area.
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals cannot participate to maintain safety and schedule flow.
The program fee is non-refundable. Date changes are free if requested 14+ days prior. Changes within 14 days incur a $50 fee. Cancellations or no-shows are not rescheduled.
