Happy Bubble Halloween brings seasonal fun to Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter without losing what families love about a regular aquarium visit.
Meet the animals, explore our exhibits and enjoy photo opportunities, costumes, candy, games and more. At the end of your visit, gather at the Mermaid Exhibit for Mermaid Manor—an original underwater Halloween performance created for our aquarium.
We are a small, family-owned aquarium in Lecanto, just a short drive from Crystal River and communities throughout Citrus County and Florida’s Nature Coast.

Your selected admission time is the beginning of your aquarium session. The mermaid show is presented near the end, so arriving on time gives your family the chance to enjoy everything before Mermaid Manor begins.
- Reserve ahead; walk-in availability is not guaranteed.
- Arrive about one hour before the listed showtime.
- Halloween costumes are welcome.
- The event is indoors and designed for families.
- Allow time for exhibits, activities and photos.

When is Happy Bubble Halloween?
The event takes place October 17–18, October 24–25 and October 31, 2026. Mermaid Manor showtimes are 12:00, 1:30 and 3:00 PM each event day.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive approximately one hour before your selected mermaid show. That means arriving at 11:00 AM for the noon show, 12:30 PM for the 1:30 show or 2:00 PM for the 3:00 show.
Is the mermaid show performed when we arrive?
No. Your arrival time begins your aquarium session. You will explore the exhibits and festivities first, and the underwater mermaid performance takes place near the end of your visit.
Can children and adults wear costumes?
Yes. Family-friendly costumes are welcome. Please choose attire that allows you to move safely through the aquarium and does not block another guest’s view.
Where is Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter?
We are located at 4100 W Gulf to Lake Highway in Lecanto, Florida—near Crystal River in Citrus County on Florida’s Nature Coast. Please note that we are not located at Weeki Wachee Springs.
Can we purchase admission when we arrive?
Walk-ins may be available, but they are not guaranteed. Advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially for event dates and the October 31 celebration.
